Your hosts are Doris and Ueli Kellenberger, the owners of the Rössli.
Doris looks after the guests, and Ueli is the chef at the restaurant.
As the fourth generation, they took over the management of the family-
owned hotel in 1997. Doris Kellenberger trained as a chef and worked in
the hospitality field. Ueli Kellenberger trained as a chef at the Grand Hotel
Hof in Bad Ragaz. His professional training took him to Suvretta House
in St. Moritz, Castello del Sole in Ascona, Kulm in Arosa, to Seppi Kalberer
in the «Schl¸ssel» in Mels and to the äbtestube in Bad Ragaz. The Gault
Millau guide has awarded the Rössli 15 points, while the German-language
gourmet guide Feinschmecker honored Ueli Kellenberger’s cuisine with
three .
The Rössli’s neighbor is Edi Kellenberger, the brother of the chef; he
supplies the meat from the butchery that was formerly part of the Rössli.
